Maine State Police are asking for the public's help locating a camper that was stolen last month from the town of Chelsea.

A witness told police that a pickup truck towed the camper away from Crystal Falls in Chelsea, possibly on August 28th or 29th. They weren't sure of the make and model of the pickup, but say it was headed east. The camper is a 2000 Fleetwood Mallard 19N, with a Maine license plate, 929660, which was attached when it was stolen.

Anyone who has information about the whereabouts of the stolen camper is asked to contact the Augusta Regional Communications Center at (207) 624-7076.
