One of our favorite Pine Tree campers is collecting donations to send another kid to camp. And this time, Nicholas is doing it with a canoe!

The effervescent 12-year-old makes everyone smile when they meet him. Nicholas Alexander just has one of those personalities. He's always smiling, always laughing, and loves making others happy.

So this year, he's going to be taking part in the Paddle for the Pine Tree Camp. This is the 18th Annual Paddle for a cause, which is a 2-hour leisurely trip down the Kennebec River. The boats go in the water from the Evergreens Campground in Solon and wind up in North Anson, with a celebratory barbecue. The event is family-friendly and suitable for all ages and skill levels. If you're interested in taking part, log onto the Pine Tree Society's website. All the money raised helps send children and adults with disabilities to the Pine Tree Camp for a full camp experience!

Nicholas has set an ambitious goal of $1,900.00 in fundraising. That's enough to send one child to camp. But time is running out and he needs your help! Click the link below if you want to help Nicholas reach his goal.
