Over 30 Maine Vanity Plates And Some Will Definitely Make You Blush

Here's where the warning comes. Some of the following vanity plates from Mainers are...WOW. I know that for a while you could have anything on your license plate. But I truly do wonder how some of these didn't raise an eyebrow and a lecture from a city clerk. Do you have a vanity plate? Do you have a spicy one? It can't be any spicier than some of the following plates.

It takes a lot to offend me, and I'm not offended by any of the following vanity plates - but I am shocked at some. Most made me chuckle, but there is a good handful that really made me shake my head and I thought of two things: 1) how did this get approved, and 2) Why? Why would you have something so...well, shocking on your car? Is it for attention? Or do you really just want to tell the world F you?

A quick search on Google shows that there are more than 100,000 vanity plates in Maine. There are about 1,000 of them that are shall we say very spicy and could be considered obscene or profane.
