Outside Magazine Ranks Maine City One of The Best Places to Travel in 2015

Adventure and travel beat "Outside" has chosen the best travel destinations in specific categories. Among places like Bermuda and Chile, a city in Maine is making the list for best place to get a good brew. 

Portland, Maine ranks #6 out of 30 for best places to travel because it is the number one destination for beer drinkers! Portland is home to one of the countries best beer bars with 33 rotating taps as well as dozens of private brewers. The thing that sets Portland ahead in the rankings is the Summer Feet Cycling, a two and a half hour bike tour along the Old Port stopping at distilleries and breweries along the way.

Some of the other winners were Greenland: Best Splurge. California: Best Road Biking. Kenya: Best Safari.
