One Dead, Three Injured In Glenburn Head-On Crash

The Penobscot County Sheriff's Office reports one person has died and three others were hurt in a head-on collision in Glenburn.

It was just before noon on Saturday, when a car crossed the center line on Route 15, near Pineview Avenue, and struck an oncoming car head-on.

Gordon Stuart, 70, died at the scene of the crash.

Stuart was the driver of a 2013 Nissan Altima involved in the crash. The vehicle's two passengers, Gage Stuart, 16, of Kenduskeag and Alicia Hobson, 17, of Kenduskeag were taken to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

This accident remains under investigation. Officials say there were several witnesses, which will help with their reconstruction.
