Dedham Man Dies In Crash On I-95 In Plymouth

A Dedham man was killed in a wreck on the exit 161 off-ramp on I-95 southbound in Plymouth Thursday morning.

Joseph Deschaine, 70, died instantly when he lost control on the curve and struck the ledge, police said Thursday evening.

Deschaine was operating a white 2013 Dodge van at the time of the crash, which occurred around 10:30 a.m.

The exit was closed so crews could clean up the area.

State Police were assisted at the scene by the Plymouth Fire Department and the Maine Department of Transportation.
