New Ice Cream Shop To Open In Brewer Friday

Here's the scoop on a new place to get a scoop, or two.

Brewer is home to a new ice cream shop. Natalea’s Center Scoop place to open their doors for the first time this week. The shop is located at 46 Center Street in Brewer, next to Mark's Music. According to a Facebook announcement, the grand opening is set for Friday July 23.

The shop has an outdoor eating area, complete with interactive murals for customers to pose with. The works were done by Lacey Crime Art. One mural features ice cream wings, the other is a dual ice cream cone face cutout.

The ice cream options in the Bangor area have been growing recently. Last week, Spencer's Ice Cream opened a hub in Old Town. The new location is across the street from the Splash Pad. So far, Spencer's is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 4-8 p.m.
