Brewery Near Bangor, Maine, to Open Taproom for the Season

One of the great things about spring in Maine is visiting all the seasonal businesses that open as the weather gets warmer.

The state is famous for its seafood, and we know many visitors and locals alike will flock to seafood shacks along the coast to enjoy a delicious Maine lobster roll.

But another thing that Maine provides is an opportunity for beer lovers to enjoy some of the best craft beers in the country.

Naiad Country Brewery in Orland, Maine

There is a place in Orland, a little more than 30 minutes south of Bangor, where seasonal opportunity and delicious local brews intersect, and that place is Naiad Country Brewery.

This is a small brewery on Beechwood Lane with a seasonal taproom. When it is closed, beer from Naiad Country Brewery can be found at local bars and restaurants.

But the taproom is about to reopen its doors to visitors.

When Does Naiad Country Brewery Taproom in Orland, Maine, Open?

On April 29, the company took to Facebook to say opening day 2025 would be on Friday, May 23.

The post said they would be open Friday through Memorial Day on Monday, and then they will be open Thursday through Sunday for the rest of the summer.

According to the Maine Brewers' Guild, "Naiad Country Brewery was created by partners Spencer Janney and Anne Daley."

One of its popular beers is Naiad Pale Ale, "An old school American Pale Ale made with new school ingredients -- Naiad's flagship pale is brewed with 100% Maine malts and 100% Vermont hops."

The April 29 Facebook post also said that Naiad Country Brewery has "some wonderful live music scheduled for 5/23 and 5/24 and many tasty new beers for you to try."

It shows that while many are thinking seafood as the weather gets warmer, others are thinking beer.
