You are stuck. Much more time at home then you’ve probably ever had. Some people are watching more television in a day than they once did in a week. Others are making the rest of us look bad by doing lots and lots of projects in and out of the house. Which ever category you fall into, one thing I’m sure you learned is everyone needs alone time once in awhile when you have so much family time. That’s perfectly normal. It’s great to spend more time with family, but we all need to do ‘our thing’, and alone sometimes. We all need a break from each other. Otherwise, the little things start to turn into bigger things, and before you realize it you can be ‘at each other’ over the dumbest thing.

A good idea is to think of a graph, where at one end is divorce and at the other end is a new baby. Where do you line up.? Which side of the graph are you on.

I guess you could be on both ends of the graph at the end of this pandemic. Pregnant and going through a divorce, but let’s hope not.

The weather is getting warmer so hopefully it’ll lead to more time spent outdoors, leading to a better frame of mind. It feels good to get out and clear your head and go for a walk. Even if it’s outdoor gardening or yard work, that’s another way to forget for a moment about the changes we’ve had to endure in the past couple of months plus.

Remember if you are nearing the end of your rope, tie a knot and hold on tight. Reach out to someone who gets you and feel better fast.
