A Maine woman is facing charges after allegedly stealing car parts from a Monroe homeowner.

State Police say the resident contacted them on Friday, March 27th, after allegedly catching some people on his Jackson Road property. The person told police that he found some people allegedly cutting up parts from vehicles he had on his property, which was posted as private. He said he was able to stop the vehicle and apprehend the driver, but two men took off on foot.

48-year-old Angela Bragg, of the Waterville area, was arrested and charged with trespassing, receiving stolen property, and unlawful possession of schedule drugs. (Suboxone) Police say the two men have been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

State Police commend the property owner and encourage others to report any suspicious activity they witness.
