When Miranda Lambert rehearses for a tour, she does it for a good cause. The singer has announced a one-night Highway Vagabond Tour rehearsal show benefitting her Women Creators Scholarship Fund.

The Jan. 24 show will take place at Joe's Bar in Chicago, and include music from frequent Lambert collaborator Natalie Hemby. Tickets are on sale for $50 (plus fees) and all proceeds will benefit a scholarship that aims to help one female attending Belmont University in Nashville pursue her dreams of a career in the music industry.

Last year Anna Vaus was named the Women Creators Fund recipient. The Belmont University junior is a frequent performer at the Song Suffragettes shows in Nashville, and was Taste of Country's featured #LetTheGirlsPlay artist of the month in October. Last January Lambert played a benefit show for the fund at City Winery in Nashville. It was an acoustic singer-songwriter round that also featured Shane McAnally.

The 2017 Highway Vagabond Tour will feature Aubrie Sellers and Old Dominion and begin Jan. 26 in Evansville, Ind. The 18-date tour wraps in mid-March, but Lambert has added a significant number of festival and overseas dates to her 2017 calendar, including a June headlining show at the Taste of Country Music Festival in Hunter, N.Y.

"Highway Vagabond" is a song on Lambert's new The Weight of These Wings album, released in November. Hemby is preparing a new album called Puxico for release on Jan. 13.
