
Minute Maid Is Discontinuing Frozen Juice After Nearly 80 Years
After being a freezer staple for nearly eight decades, Coca-Cola has announced plans to discontinue the product.
For generations, Americans made juice the old-school way by cracking open a can, dropping the frozen cylinder into a pitcher, and mixing it with water for an easy, no-squeeze glass of juice.

Minute Maid helped make orange juice a year-round morning staple in 1946, when it began shipping cans of frozen concentrate across the U.S.
But nearly 80 years later, its parent company, The Coca-Cola Co., says it’s halting frozen juice concentrate sales in the U.S. and Canada to focus instead on fresh juices that today’s customers prefer.

As announced on Wednesday, February 4th, Minute Maid confirmed that its frozen juice products will be discontinued by April.
This discontinuation includes several varieties of orange juice, lemonade, and limeade, with inventory available while supplies last, according to Coca-Cola.
