Coffeeness determined its ‘Most Popular Super Bowl Snacks By State' results by analyzing Google Ads Keyword Planner search data from December 2024 through March 2025.

They did this by reviewing search volume for a wide range of game-day foods across all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
For Maine, and for each state, Coffeeness identified the single most searched and most talked-about popular snack. Doing so while noting that the findings reflect search interest and planning behavior rather than actual Super Bowl food consumption.

That being said, Maine’s top pick for Super Bowl Sunday snacks is Buffalo chicken dip, which emerged as the overwhelming favorite and claimed the top spot in 31 states nationwide.
The creamy, spicy dip is closely tied to Super Bowl parties across the South and East Coast and ranked as the No. 1 choice in every New England state except Rhode Island, where pigs in a blanket took the top spot.
