A Milo man has admitted to using a gun to threaten his wife and children, and killing the family cat.

Frank Foss Jr., 25, was charged in December with fatally shooting the cat, and then using the gun to terrorize his family. WVII-TV reports on Monday that he admitted the actions, stating that he was drunk at the time. Foss pleaded guilty to eight charges, including cruelty to animals and domestic violence terrorizing with a dangerous weapon.

The victims were not hurt and fled to a neighbor's home in Medford. Foss is due to be sentenced in March. He faces up to five years in prison for the weapons charge, alone, which is the most serious of the charges against him.
