Augusta Police said during a press conference outside the store last night that all the details were still being examined, but that two separate incidents happened at the store. One involved a man with a gun and the other resulted in a woman passing away from an unrelated medical issue.

During the altercation between the two men, a single shot was fired. There's no indication that anyone was hurt by the firearm. The man who took the gun into the store was taken into custody. His name has not been released and police haven't said why he was bringing the gun into the store.

In an unrelated incident. police say a woman passed away outside the store. The cause of death wasn't immediately known but police say she was not shot and her death wasn't a result of the altercation inside the store.
