State Police received information last week of a suspicious man who was possibly staying overnight in the transfer station. Troopers checked the area and found personal items that were left in a trailer at that location which led them to believe someone was living there. Employees at the transfer station confirmed that they believed someone had been there at night since their equipment was low on fuel, indicating that the person was using the heater in the equipment to keep warm.

At 9:00 Tuesday evening Trooper Andrew Levesque was patrolling the area when he noticed a man wearing heavy clothing on Mill Street, near the transfer station. He questioned the man and learned that he's 35-year-old Jason Lopresto from Raleigh, North Carolina. A check of the man's ID turned up a full extraditable warrant out of Killeen, Texas with a $200,000 bond.

He was placed under arrest and taken to the Aroostook County Jail until his first court appearance.
