Man Killed in Jump From Veterans Memorial Bridge

Bangor and Brewer Police and Firefighters recovered the body of a man who jumped from the Veterans Memorial Bridge on Friday evening.

Blue lights lined the Eastbound lane of the I-395 bridge just  after 6:00, after receiving a report of a man who had jumped over the side. State Police told WVII-TV that the man died as a result of the fall. Two firefighters recovered the man's body. His  name has not been released.
