Maine Ranks As One of the Most Miserable States in the Winter

As if we didn't already know... But seriously, we have it better than Alaska and North Dakota!

Thrillist has created a list of the 50 states according to how bad or miserable the winters are there. Is it any surprise Maine ranked in the top 5?

According to this list Maine is the 5th most miserable state in the winter. We were not number one because of the lighter snow on the coast, but ranked high because of the insane amount of snow northern Maine tends to get annually.

But I guess we should be thankful we are not in #4 North Dakota, #3 Alaska, #2 Michigan, or #1 Minnesota! See the full list here!
