Maine Named a Good Place for Road Trips

With plenty of places to go it is no surprise Maine is a good state for road trips. 

While Maine was not ranked at number one it still was in the top 20 states coming in at #14. The data looked at was for things like fewest car burglaries, gas prices, camping prices, number of scenic byways, and recreational areas.

Maine did well in the car theft category with few car burglaries as well as the activities category. What hurt our ranking were low scores for gas prices, camping prices, and motor vehicle accidents.

According to WalletHub's results Oregon, Utah and Washington are the top 3 states to road trip in. It seems Conneticut, Mississippi, and Rhode Island are the worst.
