Maine’s minimum wage for tipped employees will increase from $7.55 to $7.85 per hour.
Employers must ensure workers earn at least $15.70 per hour when wages and tips are combined, while the monthly tip threshold for service employees will rise from $191 to $199.

Starting Jan. 1, 2027, Maine’s minimum salary threshold for workers exempt from overtime pay will increase to $905.79 per week, or $47,101.08 annually.
