A Fryeburg man is facing charges after allegedly shooting someone during an argument that took place near where two kids were sleeping.

Fryeburg Police were called to a home on Portland Street just before midnight on Monday to a report of shots fired. 60-year-old Michael Warren allegedly fired a 9mm handgun inside the house at a 37-year-old man during a disagreement. Two kids who were sleeping in the house were not hurt. Police told the Sun Journal that the second man, who ran from the residence, was also not seriously injured. Officials say Warren had been drinking prior to the incident.

Charged with aggravated reckless conduct, Warren was taken to Oxford County Jail, where bail was set at $250. He's expected to make his first court appearance in Bridgton later this month.
