Maine Celtics’ Playoff Run Begins March 31

The Maine G League affiliate for the Boston NBA team of the same name begins its playoff run Tuesday night.

It’s that time of year for playoff basketball, and if your March Madness bracket is already busted, maybe it’s the perfect time to shift your focus and get invested in a different kind of postseason on the hardwood.

With the 2026 NBA G League regular season now complete, 16 teams are set to battle it out in the postseason.

The playoffs will follow a single-elimination format based on seeding until the NBA G League Finals, which will be decided in a best-of-three series.

The Maine Celtics are set to take on the Greensboro Swarm, the Charlotte Hornets’ G League affiliate, in the first round, with tip-off scheduled for Tuesday, March 31st at 6:30 p.m. EST.

The first-round games are set to be played on March 31st and April 1st, followed by the Conference Semifinals on April 3rd, Conference Finals on April 5th, and the NBA G League Finals taking place between April 8th and 13th.
