The post, captioned ‘long live the teal,’ is a nod to the Portland Sea Dogs’ early days when teal was their signature color during their affiliation with the Florida Marlins from 1994 to 2002.

That era came before the team’s switch to the Boston Red Sox in 2003, marking a new chapter and a new look for the franchise.
