Made Mostly of Ice this Chevy Silverado ‘Ice Truck’ is One Cool Ride
Not that we need any more stories about ice, especially after our recent battle with another major ice storm, here's one story that's literally quite cool:
Besides keeping your drinks cold and food from spoiling, what else can you do with ice? How about building a truck made almost entirely of frozen water!
A company called Canadian Tire developed a battery they say could handle weather as cold as minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit. In doing so, they decided to take a Chevy Silverado truck and strip it down to the bare chassis, and then rebuild it using only ice.
It's called the Ice Truck, and guess what? It's a fully drivable pickup.
