Lonestar is headed to Springfield next month for an outdoor concert at the fairgrounds.

When, Where, and Who's Opening the Show?

1990s supergroup, Lonestar, will appear at the Springfield Fairgrounds on the evening of August 6th, 2022. This is not part of the fair, which is always held on Labor Day weekend but is a stand-alone event on their awesome stage. Bring your lawn chairs or sit in the historic grandstand to watch as the guys in Lonestar sing all your favorite songs.

This is the original band you remember from the '90s, with one exception. Lead singer Richie MacDonald left the band to pursue a solo career and has been replaced by Drew Womack. Name sound familiar? Drew used to be with another 90's band, Sons of the Desert.

Opening for Lonestar will be Maine Country artist, Adam Curtis. Check out Adam's YouTube Channel for his awesome original music and some impressive covers.

How Do You Get Tickets?

Tickets for the show are $40 and are available for purchase now, through the Springfield Fair's website. You can also find them at several businesses local to the area:

  • Raymond's Variety & Diner in Lee
  • Lincoln Maine Federal Credit Union in Lincoln

  • The Springfield Volunteer Fire Department

This is a family-friendly event that will include free camping, on-site. There will be fair-style concessions available for the evening, as well. Gates open at 5 pm.

It promises to be a fun night of Country Music, including all of Lonestar's favorites, including Amazed, Not a Day Goes By, No News, and My Front Porch Looking In. Get your tickets now before they're gone and we'll see you in Springfield in August.
