Kittery Boy Dies After Connecticut Accident

A 9-year-old Kittery boy has died from injuries sustained in a car accident in Connecticut.

WABI-TV reports the accident happened Thursday night on I-95 in Westport. Casey Savage was riding in the back seat of one of two cars that suddenly stopped in the left lane. A third vehicle, driven by 29-year-old Jesse Zorski of Freeport, Maine, struck Casey's car, which was then pushed into a third vehicle.

Savage died from his injuries Friday at a Connecticut hospital. Other occupants of the cars were treated for minor injuries. Police say everyone was wearing their seat belts.

The crash is under investigation.
