Kenny's Here and Now Tour wraps up with two huge nights at the home of the New England Patriots.

Kenny Chesney has been on the road this summer, playing stadiums all around the country. Finally the tour wraps up here in New England, with two big shows at Gillette Stadium. No Shoes Nation takes over the home of the New England Patriots August 26 and 27. Tickets are still available. Opening for the "Knowing You" singer is Dan + Shay, Old Dominion, and Carley Pearce.

The Here and Now Tour has been a trek two years in the making, as it was originally planned for 2020. Due to concerns over COVID, the tour was ultimately pushed to this summer. Originally named the Chillaxification Tour, the lineup was also switched up. Florida Georgia Line, Old Dominion, and Michael Franti & Spearhead were the original opening acts.

It's no secret Kenny Chesney loves New England. On Kenny's live record, Live In No Shoes Nation, out of the 30 tracks, 11 of them were recorded at Gillette. Of course the tune "Boston" is one of those 11.

The album features tracks from huge stadium shows, to low key bar gigs. The featured tunes are his mega hits, and even some of his rarely heard live songs like 'Happy on the Hey Now.' According to Boston.com, that tune was written about Maine-born Kristi Hansen who passed away in 2012 of a brain aneurysm. That song is also one of the 11 recorded at Gillette, recorded in 2013.

The live cut of 'When I See This Bar' featuring a guest appearance from The Chief, Eric Church, was also recorded at Gillette.
