Just In Time For Valentine's Day; Bangor Bakery To Open Downtown

Attention fellow practitioners of pastry! Hark all you dessert devotees!

If you have a sweet tooth, you're going to want to take note of this:

Driving down Hammond Street in Bangor today, I noticed a big banner up on one of the downtown buildings. It read "The Sweet Spot Coming Soon."

Being a lover of sweet things, especially baked goods, I had to find out what this meant.

So naturally, I did some digging. After a call to City Hall, I was pleased to discover that Downtown will soon have another place to snag some sweets!

According to their Facebook Page, The Sweet Spot will be opening up in a new location downtown (fingers crossed) just in time for Valentine's Day!

Until now, these decadent desserts made by this baker have been created and sent out into the world from a small bakery on 7th Street. Owner Hannah Carrier says:

"The new Sweet Spot will be a walk in place to grab sweets on a whim and also a spot to pick up those custom orders! I can’t wait to start decorating and getting everything all set up, I’m hoping for an opening sometime in the beginning of February, right in time for Valentines Day!"
