Jedi From Maine Cabin Masters Will Join the Q106.5 Egg Ride
His name is Jared Baker. You might know him as Jedi. Yes that one. Jedi on Maine Cabin Masters on the DIY Network.
If you don’t know the series, now in season 7, it follows a crew of skilled Mainers who save and preserve family camps and cabins.
The Maine Cabin Masters are Kennebec Cabin Company located just west of Augusta in Manchester. They are more than just T.V. stars.
Jedi is originally from Pittson where he grew up on his family’s farm hunting and fishing and playing hockey and riding a snowmobile. And he told us this morning that his Dad nicknamed him Jed as a youngster which turned into Jedi when the movie came out.
Get that snowmobile fired up, Jedi. And join us for the Q106.5 Egg Ride. Jedi is one of our celebrity Egg Riders this year. Every dollar raised goes to Pine Tree Camp. They have an open-door policy for campers with disabilities that get to attend camp whether their families have the financial resources to pay the tuition or not.
That’s why we put eggs in our suits and do the ride. To raise money for camp. Here's the link to Jedi's Fundraising page.
The ride is Saturday, February 5, leaving Dysart’s Truck Stop and Restaurant in Hermon at 10:30 a.m. You are more than welcome to come to Dysart’s before we all leave and meet Jedi and all the riders. Before or after the ride. Come over and say hello.
Here are all the details about the ride
Here’s Jedi’s outlook on life.
Give me rocks and I will crush it to sand, give me sand and I will heat it to glass, give me glass and I will fill it with a tasty beverage! Make the best of every situation. It’s our only option.
Hard not to love a guy that thinks like that. Thank you Jared. See you at the Q106.5 Egg Ride.
