Jason Aldean and his family have been evacuated from his Florida panhandle home, and other Country stars have been affected too.  Chris Janson and Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelly are hunkered down in the area. See photos of the fires here from Brittany Aldean and from Chris Janson.

Brett Eldredge had a flip phone until not that long ago, and told Taste of Country he has parental controls on his phone that only allows him one hour of use per day. His management company locks and unlocks his phone for him everyday. Wow. Hear him tonight after Seven p.m. on Taste of Country Nights on Q106.5 IF he doesn't go over his daily allowance of minutes. Plus hear who the first person to hear his new album that comes out July 10th is.

Gabby Barrett has her debut album coming out. It's due June 19th and is called Goldmine. Yes it'll contain her debut single I Hope which went to #1 for this ex American Idol.

And with Mother's Day on Sunday, how timely that Tim McGraw releases his new song today called I Called Mama. The song is not about his Mama, nor did he write the song, but he told Taste of Country, "It is a reminder that hearing someone's voice who loves you is great healing. We need music now more than ever". Tim, call your Mom on Sunday. Everyone else too.  Happy Mother's Day to all.

Q106.5 Country Music News week day mornings at 6:20 and at 8:20 a.m.
