This fun event in Bangor is for the whole family!

Summer is almost here, which means the kids will be bored, luckily there are plenty of things to do this time of year

Saturday, June 1st from 4pm-7pm, The Cole Land Transportation Museum will come to life during the "Night at the Museum."

The public is invited to explore the museum after hours, complete a special scavenger hunt and interact with live actors around the museum, each representing an occupation or time period.

Prize bags will be passed out to children for completing the scavenger hunt. Admission is also at a discounted rate of just $5 for adults. Children as always are FREE! Pretty good deal for four hours of fun

This is your chance to come check out the museum after hours, learn more about Maine history, and meet some spectacular people from the past!

Located at 405 Perry Road Bangor, the Cole Land Transportation Museum is a depository of land transportation vehicles used on dirt roads as well as state and interstate highways in the state of Maine.

They kicked off their 2024 season, back on May 1st.

The museum was assembled over many years and opened to the public in 1989 by the industrialist and philanthropist Galen Cole in his home city of Bangor, Maine.

The purpose of the Cole Land Transportation Museum is to collect, preserve, and display a cross-section of Maine’s land transportation equipment from which this and future generations will gain knowledge of the past.

Cole Land Transportation Museum is open seasonally from May 1 to November 11.
