Increased Police Presence In Castle Hill After Double Murder
The number of police officers in Castle Hill has been increased as the investigation into a double homicide continues.
Police say the bodies of Roger Ellis and Allan Curtis were found in a pickup truck early Tuesday morning, and now the State Medical Examiner's Office says the men died of gunshot wounds. Both the pickup, and an abandoned, unregistered ATV found nearby were taken to the State Police Crime Lab for analysis. So far, no arrests have been made.
State Police patrols have been increased in Mapleton and Castle Hill. Residents are encouraged to be vigilant of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity or information that may be related to the case. Houlton's Maine State Police Barracks can be reached at (207) 532-5400.
