Icy Conditions Blamed For Cross Lake Twp. Crash

Police say a St. Agatha woman lost control of her pickup truck and crashed after driving over a patch of black ice Wednesday morning.

The wreck occurred just before 7 a.m. on Ouellette Road in Cross Lake Twp., Maine State Police said in a news release.

The vehicle operated by Marie Boucher, 38, went off the roadway, rolled over and came to rest on its roof.

Police said Boucher was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

She was not hurt in the accident.
