Hermon Woman Arrested In Connection With Overdose Death
A Hermon woman is facing charges as the result of an investigation into a death by overdose.
Kayla Whittemore, 27, of Hermon was arrested on November 10, by the Hampden Police Department and the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office. Hampden Police tell us she's charged with Unlawful Trafficking in Scheduled Drugs, specifically heroin and/or fentanyl and cocaine. Hampden Police say the arrest was part of an investigation into an overdose death that occurred in June.
Police were aided in the investigation by the Maine State Police and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.
