If you've seen any of the footage from this year's Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race (check out the post Sarah put up with the wicked cool aerial shots!) then you likely saw that a ton of people fell into the drink when they hit Six Mile Falls! And if you've ever taken part in the race, you know that there are often things (like paddles, helmets and even some canoes and kayaks) that can go missing if you end up spilling during the event.

Have you ever wondered where to go to look for that stuff? Well, wonder no longer!

Here's a link to the Kenduskeag Stream Canoe Race Lost and Found Box, where you can actually post the items that you lost, and your contact number, in case someone comes across it! The most amusing post, so far, from this list: "Lost 3 paddles. 2 bent shaft wood paddles. One with crack down middle and writing "i cant swim canoe?" other blank. One Metal paddle gold and black plastic blade."

You can also reach out to Bangor Parks And Rec at (207) 992-4490, as things that are found along the stream, after the race, are often returned to them.

So, before you shell out big bucks to replace those lost items, (or before you get too bummed out, if they're things you'd grown attached to) it's worth throwing a line out to see if someone might have found it!
