Heavy Rain + Thunderstorms Expected Late Week

The work week will wrap up with wet and stormy weather according to forecasters.

The National Weather Service is calling for a wet end of the week. Soaking rain is expected Thursday into Friday morning. The Bangor and Downeast areas will see nearly an inch and a half of rainfall.

In addition, scattered thunderstorms may develop over Downeast areas Thursday night.

The extended forecast looks good into the first weekend of summer. The Bangor area can expect mostly sunny conditions and temps near 80, Saturday and Sunday.
