Fort Knox Introduces the 3-Day Pirate Parlay This Weekend

Can't wait for Halloween and Fright at the Fort? No worries! Dead Pirates Curse is a haunted house coinciding with Pirate Weekend.

The Pirate Parlay begins tomorrow, Friday July 14th and is full of activities through Sunday the 16th. A Pirate ship will be invading the Penobscot River and dozens of pirates will be invading the land at Fort Knox State Historic Site.

Activities Friday-Sunday include Pirate tales, weapon demonstrations, pirate camp, cannon lessons, a sea battle, costume contests and more. The highlight of the weekend for many is the new Dead Pirates Curse.

Dead Pirates Curse will be similar to Fork Knox's annual Fright at the Fort event during the Halloween season only it will be Pirate themed! Take a tour of the already creepy fort while seeing scenes described as "bloody pirate death".
