
Former Greenville Man Guilty in Hollywood Slaying

A former Greenville man was convicted in 2017 of voluntary manslaughter in the death of a homeless man in Hollywood, California, in January 2015.
The man, 23, is scheduled to be sentenced in April, according to a report on WABI. He could face 22 years in prison.
Police say the man shot the victim, Richard Miller, 52, was shot several times. He died on the way to the hospital, according to a news release from the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.
Attorneys for the defendant had argued that he was on drugs at the time of the killing and didn't know what he was doing.
