A house for sale in Ellsworth is so spacious the master bedroom could be an apartment all by itself.

Granted, my first solo apartment was small. I lived on Center Street in Bangor, just a few houses away from the back entrance to St. Joseph Hospital, in a sort of studio apartment. I had a living room that doubled as my bedroom and a tiny kitchen, as well as a modest bathroom. It was really all I needed in my early 20's and was located close to the downtown area, which I loved.

I thought of that apartment when I was spending some time on Realtor.com recently and saw a house for sale in Ellsworth. What caught my eye, at first, is the fact that the house has waterfront access. This is definitely a dream of mine, to one day live next to the water. But as I looked through the pictures of this gorgeous house, the master bedroom really caught my eye. It's enormous. I mean, you can fit that entire Center Street apartment into the master bedroom, alone, and still have room left over for a couch. Okay, I'm not sure that's entirely accurate, but it sure appears that way.

This 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom home on Laurel Street in Ellsworth is listed at $950,000 on realtor.com by Stacy White with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate/The Masiello Group. It has lots of beautiful amenities, like soaking tubs, lots of windows facing the Union River, access to the water with a private dock, and the perfect corner for a baby grand piano. In addition, there are some outbuildings that could be she-sheds, he-sheds, or man-caves. Check out the pictures and you can see for yourself what an amazing home this is. If you buy it, maybe you'd consider renting just the master bedroom to me. I come with a husband and a very friendly dog.
