Last chance. Q106.5 Egg Ride is tomorrow and so for the last time in 2023 we ask you for a donation to help the Pine Tree Camp Open Door Policy.

They don’t turn down campers if they can’t pay the tuition.

That is the sole purpose of the Q106.5 Egg Ride – to raise money for those families.

Here’s the link to donate if you can Any amount is great

Hold it. They’re riding in this weather. Haven’t they heard the wind chill 40 below zero predictions?

Yes, we will, but the ride will be an extremely abbreviated Ride. Safety shortened so we aren’t in the extreme wind chill for very long.

We leave the Penobscot Snowmobile Club,795  Bog Road in Hermon by 1 p.m. and arrive at Dysart’s Truck Stop, 530 Coldbrook Road  in Hermon by 1:15 p.m.

Want to come to either location and witness the mess, you are welcome. And if you stay in the warmth of your car to watch, all of us totally understand.

We’ll put the egg shaped jello into the suits at about 12:45 so we can leave by 1p.m.

And you can see the anticipated colorful display of the jello under the Q106.5  Egg Ride shirts at about 1:15 or so.

Then we take a group photo and head for the warmth.

That’s Saturday.

If you would like to support the Pine Tree Camp on Friday evening, it is the return of the Auction. And it is inside, so no wind chill warnings.

A Live and Silent Auction will take place at Carmel Snowmobile Club, 210 Hampden Road in Carmel. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. snf the auction begins at 6 p.m. Dan Cashman and JR Mitchell will be the auctioneers.

Thanks for your participation. Thanks for putting up with all the attention we give this event…if you have met a camper or anyone in their family, you understand how important it is.
