Drug Agents Find Meth Manufacturing in Oakland
Drug agents with the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency are cleaning up a methamphetamine operation after a month long investigation.
As a result, search warrants were used at 11 Center Street in Oakland, and at the Waterville Fireside Inn & Suites according to Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland.
A wing of the motel was evacuated due to the toxic nature of the ingredients used in the manufacturing of the meth.
A car in Skowhegan has also been seized as part of the investigation which has been supported by local, state, and federal officials, along with local fire and EMS crews.
