Drug Agents Charge Two For Crack Trafficking In Deer Isle
Police arrested two people Friday after executing a search warrant single family residence at 202 North Deer Isle Road in Deer Isle.
Anderson Harewood, 47, of Schenectady, New York and David Joyce, 44, of Deer Isle are charged with aggravated trafficking.
Agents seized approximately 70 grams of cocaine base (crack) individually packaged for resale, with a retail value of $7,000.
The charges were aggravated because of the amount of cocaine, three juveniles being present at the residence and the residence being within 1,000 feet of a school. Both men were transported to the Hancock County Jail where Harewood's bail was set at $100,000 cash and Joyce’s bail was set at $50,000 cash.
