A man told police that a member of the snow removal crew at the Wiscasset Shaw's had threatened him with a knife.

Wiscasset Police were called to the parking lot during Tuesday's storm, for an altercation involving snow removal. A man told the officers that he saw a member of the snow removal crew blowing snow onto the side of his truck. He said he approached the man and asked him to stop putting snow on the truck and the worker allegedly displayed a knife and threatened to 'slit his throat.' He said the man also allegedly threatened to get a gun out of his truck and shoot him, if he reported the incident.

36-year-old Christopher Perkins of Dresden has denied the allegations. When a knife was found at the scene, Perkins was charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon and violating a condition of release. He's due in court in January.
