Genevieve Hannelius, often credited as G. Hannelius, is best known for starring as Avery Jennings on the Disney Channel sitcom ‘Dog with a Blog,’ which aired from 2012 to 2015.

She also appeared in several other Disney Channel projects, including ‘Sonny with a Chance,’ ‘Good Luck Charlie,’ ‘Den Brother,’ ‘Hannah Montana,’ and ‘Jessie,’ and voiced Rosebud in the ‘Air Buddies’ film series.

Hannelius was born in Boston and moved to Yarmouth with her family when she was three.

Before moving to Los Angeles at age nine to pursue acting, she appeared in children’s theater productions in Maine, including Madeline’s Rescue and Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing.

Hannelius shared a ‘get ready with me’ video on her social media pages on June 14th while spending time in Maine for her grandmother’s 90th birthday.

In the post, she said she was happy to be in Maine and that “there’s nothing like a Maine summer,” while also joking that she was even more excited about the Knicks winning the NBA championship.
