Dinner And Auction To Benefit Food Pantry In Hermon
A dinner and auction later this month will benefit the Neighbors Helping Neighbors Food Pantry in Hermon.
It promises to be a fun evening! Dinner will be provided by Stevie's Stagecoach, with appetizers, entree, and dessert, accompanied by a cash bar. Before dinner, folks are encouraged to bid on a variety of silent auction items. And then, during dessert, the bidding starts on a live auction, with some cool items up for bid in both! Everything from restaurant gift certificates, to front end alignments, car repairs, jewelry, and trips will be up for grabs!
The dinner/auction is happening on Saturday, April 22nd at the Elks Club in Bangor. Tickets are $20 per person and must be bought in advance. There will be no tickets available at the door. Purchase your tickets by contacting Carol Lackedy at 299-5186, or by dropping her an email.
That's also how you can contribute to the food pantry. There isn't always someone at the pantry, located in the Danforth's shopping mall in Hermon, so you'll need to contact Carol and set up a time to meet there. But she says they can really use your help to stock the shelves over the summer! Any non-perishable food items are welcomed, and she says they can always use canned fruit and boxes of macaroni and cheese.
