Hundreds of people lined up down the street Saturday, Sept. 12, for the store’s grand opening.

Cooper Flagg said he and Tyler had discussed the idea for about two years, envisioning a welcoming place where people could spend time while also giving him a business in his home state away from the demands of the basketball season.

Cooper Flagg is a professional basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks, who selected him with the first overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft after one season at Duke University.

A Newport native, Flagg began his high school basketball career at Nokomis Regional High School, helping lead the team to a state championship in 2022 before transferring to a school in Florida.
