Dexter Plane Crash Pilot Dies of His Injuries
A 78-year-old man, whose planed flipped over in Dexter on Wednesday, has died of his injuries.
Dexter Municipal Airport officials said Rodney Wright of East Corinth had been making some runs, and when the open-cockpit plane came down, it appeared the wheel struts broke, and the plane flipped over. Wright was taken by LifeFlight to Eastern Maine Medical Center where a close family friend told WVII-TV that he passed away Thursday afternoon.
The FAA is investigating the crash.
