A night of dance presentations, silent auction bidding, and raffles in Hampden tonight will raise money for the Pine Tree Camp.

More than 100 dancers will take part in tonight's show from Morita's School of Dance, Next Generation Dance Theater, Releve Dance Center, Thomas School of Dance, and Top Hat II Dance Studio. Along with the dance presentations, there will be a table with silent auction and raffle items, including themed baskets and gift certificates to many area businesses.

All the money raised will be donated to the Pine Tree Camp for Children and Adults with Disabilities. The goal is to be able to send two kids to camp this summer, so they can really use your help. The Pine Tree Camp is located in Rome, Maine and serves children and adults from around the state. I've visited the camp and can tell you that it's an amazing place, with a wheelchair-accessible playground and treehouse, along with wonderful counselors who return year after year.

Tonight's show will start at 7:00 at Hampden Academy. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students. Stop by and show your support for the dancers and the campers. Find more information on the event's Facebook page.
