Coastal Storm To Bring Accumulating Snow To Bangor Area, Downeast
A late week storm could bring accumulating snow the area. Here's what we know so far.
The National Weather Service in Caribou is forecasting snow and mix precipitation for the Bangor area and Downeast, Maine. The storm is expected to impact the area Friday. A Winter Storm Watch is in effect as 6-8 inches of snow is expected. Some areas may see as much as 10 inches of snow.
Bangor School Department is urging parents who haven't signed up for school alerts to do so before the storm.
The text alerts will be sent out in the event of weather delays, releases, and closures.
