A movie being shown in Brewer next week will follow the journey of Chris Bombardier, a man with severe hemophilia, as he climbs Mt. Everest.

April 17th is World Hemophilia Day, and so the Hemophilia Alliance of Maine is holding a screening of Bombardier's movie, 'Bombardier Blood.' The motivational movie follows Chris's quest to the summit, and also includes interviews from friends and family members who supported his efforts. As you can see in the trailer (above), the scenery is breathtaking, and the story is powerful.

The showing of Bombardier Blood will be presented from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Brewer Performing Arts Center on April 17th. Admission is free, but tickets are required in order to reserve a seat. Chris Bombardier will be there to answer questions, and there will be some light appetizers available. Find more information on the Maine Hemophilia website.
